Hand Description Probability
Straight Flush
  • Five cards of the same suit in sequential rank.
  • Between two or more straight flushes, the one with the highest ranking top card wins.
  • A tie is possible

Four-of-a-kind
  • Four cards of the same rank, with fifth card of a different rank.
  • Between two or more four of a kinds, the one with the higher ranking four cards wins.
  • Can only be a tie in games with shared/community cards.

Full House
  • Three cards of one rank (a triple) and two of another (a pair).
  • Between two full houses, the one with the highest ranking set of three wins.
  • A tie is only possible in games with shared cards.

Flush
  • Five cards with the same suit but not in sequential order.
  • Between flushes, the one with the highest card wins, if equal the 2nd highest, etc.
  • Ties are possible.

  • Five cards in sequence but not all of the same suit.
